About LeanderARW

Leander Area Republican Women (LeanderARW) is a grassroots organization that works for, and promotes Republican ideas and values. We do this by working with Republican Party nominees, being informed politically, and promoting effectiveness of women in government.
 
LeanderARW is proud to be part of the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) and National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). We are also registered with the Texas Ethics Commission.
 
We are committed to fostering loyalty to the Republican Party, and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections.

Established in 2020

In October 2020 the women of Leander saw a need to establish a local TFRW club. The city was, and still is growing very fast, and a number of new Republicans are moving to the area almost daily. With this need, the LeanderARW club was created! We officially became a TFRW club in February 2021 and NFRW in March 2021. Our membership has grown rapidly and continues to grow today. We are proud to be group of Republican women and men committed to leading in Leander and surrounding areas. LeanderARW Executive team, Committee Chairs, Members, and Associate Members are dedicated to serve our community and promote Republican values. Come join us today!

Our Objectives

  • To work for the election of the Republican Party's nominees
  • To promote an informed electorate through political education
  • To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation
  • To facilitate cooperation among local Republican Women's clubs
  • To foster loyalty to the Republican Party, and promote its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections

LeanderARW Executive Team

Kate McDonald
President

Kate was appointed our new President February 2022, and will serve as the President until December 2022. As President, Kate presides over all LeanderARW meetings, appoints Committee Chairpersons, and oversees all general club activities.

Angela Wiliams
Vice President & Political Actives Chair

Angela was elected as the first, 1st Vice President October 2020, and will serve in her position until December 2022. As the 1st VP, Angela performs duties as President when the President is unavailable, and oversees all club volunteer opportunities and hours reported by club members.

Kathryn Pantalion-Parker
2nd Vice President of Membership

Kathryn was elected as the first 2nd Vice President of Membership in October 2020, and will serve in her position until December 2022. Kathryn is responsible to recruit, encourage, and mentor new members.

Traci Taubert, CPA
Treasurer

Traci was elected as the LeanderARW Treasurer March 2021, and will serve as the Treasurer until December 2022. Traci is the custodian for all club funds and expenses. She is registered with the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC), and submits club reports as required by the TEC.

Crystle Cloud
Secretary & Communications Chair

Crystle was elected as LeanderARW Secretary in November 2020, and will serve as the Secretary until December 2022. She is responsible to record, and keep factual and unbiased records of all meeting proceedings for the club. As the Committee Chair of Communications, she is responsible for the club's correspondence, social media, newsletter, and website.

Robin Denio
​Immediate Past President

Robin was elected as our first President, and resigned February 2022. She now serves as our Immediate Past President. Robin's duty is serving on the Executive Board as an advisor.
