Judge Steve Snell is a lifelong conservative Christian with a foundation in Faith, Family and Texas Values. He was appointed by the Williamson County Commissioners’ Court to serve as County Judge on April 21, 2025. With more than 30 years of proven leadership, Steve has built a lifetime of service as an educator, superintendent, and community leader. A devoted husband and father, Steve and his wife are both proud graduates of Texas Tech University and certified educators who have dedicated their lives to helping others reach their full potential.
Rooted in strong moral values and a tireless work ethic, Steve brings integrity, humility, and purpose to every role he serves. His deep background in education has shaped his belief in accountability, transparency, parental empowerment, and collaboration – principles he carries into public service.
Beyond public service, Steve is deeply involved in his church and community. He serves on the Youth Pastor Council and founded the “Adopt a School Program,” a faith-based initiative connecting local churches with schools to support students and educators. Whether in the classroom, the church, or the courtroom, Steve Snell leads with compassion, conviction, and a heart for the people of Williamson County.
“My vision is to protect what makes Williamson County special while preparing for the future with clarity and purpose. Together, we can preserve what we love about our community and build a safe, vibrant, and welcoming future for generations to come.” – Judge Steve Snell
