The State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) is the governing board of the Republican Party of Texas (RPT). It has 64 members - one committeeman and one committeewoman from each of Texas’ 31 state Senate districts, plus one Chair and one Vice-Char. All of the SREC members are elected at the RPT convention held in May of Presidential-election years and June of Gubernatorial-election years. Learn more about RPT here.

Mary Jane got to the beautiful Hill Country of Texas as fast as she could. She moved to Burnet / Marble Falls in
2012 from Beaumont, Texas where her husband, Graham was a Retina Surgeon. There she was President of the Golden Triangle Republican Women, Vice Chair of the Jefferson County Republican Party, SREC Committeewoman, SD4 and a Candidate for State Representative, HD21 in 2000. She also was a member of the Beaumont Symphony League.

Upon moving to Burnet County she became involved with
the Burnet County Republican Club where she became
President. She loves campaigning and block walking. She
used her blockwalking skills to help elect State
Representative Terry Wilson, HD20 and continues to lead block walking teams into Williamson and Travis counties for Republican candidates.

Campaigning outside Texas as part of the Mighty Texas Strike Force is a joy. She has participated in Mighty Texas Strike Force campaigns in New Hampshire, Scanton, PA, Cleveland, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Raleigh, NC and most recently, Newnan, GA. Those trips enrich new campaign skills and friendships.

She has had the honor to attend 3 Republican National Conventions as an Alternate/Delegate, a TFRW
Tribute to Women Honoree and recently represented Congressional District 25 as the 2020 Presidential
Elector.

She currently serves as SREC SD24 Committeewoman encouraging SD24 Patriots to "get involved". No
matter what the project might be - a fundraising event, block walking, phone calling, lobbying, etc. - it is a
"team" effort where every skill set and personality is appreciated and valued to further our shared conservative values. She is also the President of the Burnet County Republican Women and is the Resolutions Chair for the Texas Federation of Republican Women. Mary Jane was also the Voter Engagement Project Region 8 Chair which, with statewide volunteers, registered over 160,000 new
Republican voters.

When not working on poltical activities, (and really, when is that?) she enjoys playing the cello at her church, The Heart of Texas Orchestra and a string quartet, High Strung.
