Mike Wheeler
Mike Wheeler holds an MBA with a focus on finance from The University of Michigan. He dedicated the majority of his 30-year career to corporate bond trading in both New York City and London. As a Managing Director, he oversaw high-yield trading at Bank of America and Morgan Stanley. For the last 12 years of his career, he was based in London. Recognizing that trading is often suited for younger professionals, Mike and his family chose to return to the United States upon his retirement, settling in Texas to be closer to relatives.
They have lived in Texas for nearly six years and currently reside in Boerne. Together with his wife, he operates a small family-owned real estate and property management business that serves San Antonio and the Hill Country. Mike has also been active in local politics, serving as a delegate in Bexar County, a Precinct Chair and Treasurer in Kendall County, and he became the Kendall County Chair in 2023. Mike is currently the SD25 Committeeman.
